Crunchy Butter Biscuits / Wheat Biscuits

Ingredients: Wheat flour - 1 cup Powdered sugar and Brown sugar - 3/4th cup Butter - 2 tbsp Cardamoms -2 powdered. Milk - as required. Baking powder - 1 pinch. Baking Soda -1 pinch. Method: Mix all ingredients and knead well like chapatti batter. Roll it with a rolling pin and cut it in desired shapes. Kids will love to do that with a cookie cutter or we can use lids. Or simply make small balls and arrange it in a plate with 1 inch gaps. (So that the biscuits have some space to expand) Keep it in the oven at 200C for 35 mins. You will know, when to take it out with its wonderful smell. Healthy, Easy, tasty and crunchy biscuits are ready. You can keep it in the air tight container for weeks!

Stuffed Mirchi Bajji

Ingredients: 1.Bengal gram flour-4 tsp. 2 .Red chilly Powder -1 tsp. 3.Garam masala- 1/2 tbsp. 4.Coriander powder-1/2 tbsp. 5.Jeera powder-1/2 tbsp. 6.Fennel powder-1/2 tbsp. 7.Salt-As req. 8.Oil-5 tsp. 9.Mirchi/Bajji chillies-5 to 6  10.Sugar-1/4 tsp 11.Lemon juice-1/ 2tsp. 12.Coconut Grated/desiccated-1 tsp.(Optional) Method: 1.Roast the Besan flour with all the dry ingredients,(chilly powder, fennel powder, coriander powder, Jeera powder, salt and garam masala, sugar, coconut) for 3 mins 2.Mix well the dry ingredients. 3.Then add a tsp of oil to the dry mixture and mix it with lime juice. 4.The stuff is ready now. 5.Now slit the chilly lengthwise and stuff the besan filling inside. 6.In a pan, add oil and stir fry the stuffed chillies ,  and let them cook uniformly on all sides 7.Close the pan with a lid and allow it to cook for 1 min. 8.Delicious stuffed mirchy is ready to serve Optional 1.Tastes good with tomato ketchup.

Vazhaipoo vadai

Ingredients: 1.Asefotida-a pinch. 2.Onion small-10 to 15(Finely chopped). 3.Salt-as req. 4.Curry leaves-as req. 5.Oil-For frying. To Grind: 1.Banana flower/vazhaipoo-1/2 2.Kadalaiparapu/Bengalgram dal-1 cup 3.Green chilly-4 to 5. 4.Ginger(Chopped)-1/2 tsp. 5.Garlic(Chopped)-1/2 tsp. 6.Sombu/Fennel seeds-1 tsp. 7.Jeeragam/Cumin seeds-1 tsp. Method: 1.Clean banana flower and chop it into pieces. 2.Soak bengalgram dal for 1 hour.(Take 2 tbsp of dal and keep it seperate) 3.Grind chopped flower,soaked dal,Green chilly,ginger,garlic,fennel seeds,cumin seeds to a corase paste. 4.Add 2 tbsp of soaked dal,salt,asefotida,curry leaves to that, and mix well. 5.Make it as a vada and deep fry it in medium flame. 6.Crunchy Vazhaipoo vada  receipe is ready to serve.

PalaMusu vadai/Tikki

Ingredients: 1.Bengal gram flour-5 tsp. 2.Rice flour-2 tsp. 3.And include the ingredients from this link. 4.Oil-For frying 5.Bengal gram -4 tsp. 6.Bread crumbs-as req.(For this take 4 slices of bread and grind it in a mixie.) : http://riyasamayal.blogspot.in/2014/01/pala-musu-porriyalcurry.html Method: 1.Grind the cooked palamusu porriyal in a mixie,without adding water. 2.Add bengal gram flour, rice flour and some salt to that. 3.Make it as a corase paste. 4.Soak bengal gram for 1 hour. 5.Add this soaked bengal gram to the grinded paste. 6.Make this paste as vada. 7.Put this vada in bread crumbs and deep fry it. 8.Bread crumbs gives more crispyness to vada. 9.Crispy palamusu vada is ready.

Bonda

Ingredients: 1.Urud dal-1 cup 2.Green chilli-2 3.Salt-as per taste 4.Curry leaves 5. Big Onion-1(medium size) 6.Pepper-few 7.Oil-For frying Method: 1.Soak Urud dal for 1 hour.,Grind it into a paste.Add Salt as per taste. 2.Add chopped green chilli,onion,curry leaves,pinch of broken pepper seeds to the Urud dal paste 3.Make  the paste as a ball and deep fry the balls. 4.Bonda is ready for serving.

Veg Roll/Vegetable Wonton

Ingredients: Maida / all purpose flour - 1 cup. Potato - 2. Carrot - 1.  Beans - 6 no. Green Peas - 1/4 cup. Green chilly - 2. Onion - 1 small. Ginger,garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp. Salt - As needed. Oil-for frying. Turmeric powder-a pinch. Method: 1.Pressure cook potato and peas, mash it well. 2.In a pan add 2 tbsp oil,  finely chopped onion, add ginger garlic paste,turmericpowder, beans,green chilly and carrot. 3.Add some water and cook it covered, add salt to it. 4.Mix mashed potato and vegetables together. 5.In a wide bowl, add salt  maida and a spoon of oil, mix it well with enough water and make it as dough. 6.Make small balls from the dough and spread it like poori and add 2 tbsp of stuffing in it. 7.Seal it well . 8.In a o
