Bread Omelet

Ingredients:

  1. Bread slices - 4
  2. Eggs - 3
  3. Turmeric pwd - ¼ tsp
  4. Red chilly pwd - 1 tsp
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Onion - ½
  7. Tomato - ½
  8. Oil - 2 tsp
  9. Green chilly finely chopped - 1 tsp
  10. Cilantro leaves finely chopped - 3 tsp

Method:

  1. Add turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd and salt to a bowl.. Add little water and mix well.
  2. Break eggs and pour to the mixture.
  3. Beat it very good. Take care there should not be any lump of spices
  4. Finely chop onion, tomato, green chilly & cilantro leaves.
  5. Now add them to the beaten egg mixture
  6. Give a good stir and keep aside
  7. Meanwhile toast the bread to golden.
  8. Remove and reserve the toasted breads.
  9. Pour the egg mixture to the pan to prepare omelet.
  10. Now dip the bread slices in egg mixture and keep it aside
  11. In the same pan, add 1 tsp oil and put the pan on medium heat.
  12. cook on both sides
  13. Serve Bread Omelet hot with tomato ketch-up or any chutneys..!
