Delicious Chilli Paneer

Ingredients:

  1. Onion big - 2
  2. Tomatoes big - 2
  3. Capsicum (different colors) - 3 different colours
  4. Jeera powder - 1 tsp
  5. Garam masala -1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  8. Salt - as required
  9. Coriander leaves - a handful
  10. Oil - 3 tsp
  11. Butter - a small knob
  12. Paneer - 400g
  13. Rice flour - 1/2 tsp

Method:

1.Prepare the Vegetables: Slice onions, tomatoes, and capsicums into squares.

2.Paneer Preparation: Cube the paneer and roast it in a pan with butter until it turns a delightful shade of yellow. Set aside.


3.Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same pan, add oil and fry the veggies until the onions achieve a golden color. Add salt to taste.

4.Spice it Up: Incorporate jeera powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Avoid closing the pan to prevent excess water.

5.Fry Until Combined: Continue frying for an additional 5 minutes until all the flavors meld together.

6.Add Paneer: Add the paneer cubes into the mixture and blend well. Close the lid for just 2 minutes.


7.Rice Flour Magic: Sprinkle 1/2 spoon of rice flour onto the pan and mix gently. Keep the flame low and leave the pan open for a few more minutes. This will give mild crispyness to the dish.

8.Optional Enhancements:
For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding spring onions and mixed herbs. While the original recipe may not have included them, feel free to customize based on your preferences.
