Hibiscus leaf dosa/Chembaruthi Ilai dosai

Ingredients:

  1. Hibiscus leaves - 20 to 30 leaves.
  2. Idly Rice/Boiled Rice- 1 Cup.
  3. Urad dhal -1 tbsp.
  4. Salt - as req.




Method:

  1. Soak Rice and Urad dahl for 4 to 6 hours.
  2. Pick and wash hibiscus leaves.
  3. Grind the rice and urad dhal in a mixer/grinder toa coarse mixture.
  4. Now add the hibiscus leaves to it and grind together.
  5. Add salt to the batter and mix well with your hand.
  6. Allow it to ferment for 8 hours.
  7. Our Hibiscus dosa batter is ready.!

  1. Now it's time to make dosa.
  2. In a dosa pan, add some batter and spread it like we do for normal dosa.
  3. These hibiscus leaves are good for cooling our body and have many other medicinal values.

Ingredients: 1.Red Chilly-1/2 kg. 2.Daniya-1kg. 3.Pepper-100g. 4.Cumin seeds/Jeeragam-50g. 5.Turmeric-150g. 6.Split Bengal gram/Kadalaparapu-100g. 7.Toor dhal/Thuvaram parapu-100g. 8.Black gram/Uluntham paruppu-2 tsp9.Fenugreek/Venthayam-2 tsp. 10.Raw rice/Pachai Arisi-4 tsp.
